Join Your Two Accounts
If you signed in to PokerSjef once with Google and once with Facebook, you have two accounts. Join them. Then both sign-ins open one account with all your clubs and results.
Why You Have Two Accounts
Your first sign-in with a Google or Facebook account makes a new PokerSjef account. If you used Google one time and Facebook another time, you have two accounts.
Each account then has only a part of your clubs and results. For example, a club or a result is not there when you sign in with the other account.
Join the Accounts
- Sign in to PokerSjef with one of the two accounts.
- Press your picture to open the account menu. On a computer, it is at the bottom left. On a phone, it is at the top right.
- Choose Profile.
- Choose the Sign-In Methods tab.
- Press the button of your other sign-in: Connect Facebook or Connect Google.
- Sign in to your other account on the page of Facebook or Google.
- PokerSjef opens again and asks which account you keep. Choose one.
- Press Join the Accounts. Both sign-ins now open the account that you kept.
Before PokerSjef opens Facebook or Google, it can ask you to sign in again to the account that you are in. Press Sign In Again with Google or Sign In Again with Facebook. This shows that the account is yours.
Two Google accounts? Press Join Another Google Account in step 5. Google then shows its list of accounts. Choose the other one.

The account you keep keeps its name and its picture. The clubs, the roles and the results of the other account move to it. Then PokerSjef deletes the other account. You cannot undo this.
What Moves to the Account That You Keep
- Your clubs. In a club where both accounts had a role, you get the higher role.
- Your signups and your results, also in the seasons and the leagues.
- Your Google and Facebook sign-ins. Each of them then opens the account that you kept.
Then PokerSjef deletes the other account. You cannot undo the join.
When PokerSjef Asks You
If you sign in with a new account on a phone that another account used, PokerSjef asks if both accounts are yours. If they are, sign in to the other account. Then choose the account to keep.
If Something Goes Wrong
- If Google refuses to sign you in on an Android phone, you are inside Messenger, Facebook or Instagram. Open PokerSjef in Chrome. Then start again.
- Finish the join within 15 minutes. If PokerSjef says that the join is no longer open, start again from Sign-In Methods.
- If PokerSjef says that nothing changed, you signed in to the same account again. Start again, and sign in to your other account.
- If both accounts have an entry in the same event, PokerSjef cannot join them. The message names the event. Ask a director of the club to remove one of the two entries. Then try again.
- If the message tells you to ask support, write to pokersjef-support@googlegroups.com.
