Printable Buy-In Sheet

Make a sheet for the desk with your figures, then print it or save it as a PDF.

Kind of Sheet
The Event

The sheet has a row for each expected player, and at least 10 rows.

The sheet calculates the expected prizes from these figures. It counts some rebuys and add-ons, as the blind calculator of PokerSjef does.

The print window of your browser can also save the sheet as a PDF. Nothing that you type leaves this page.

If the entries change, the paid places can change too. The Payout Calculator on pokersjef.com gives the final prizes.

How to Use the Sheet

One person at the desk keeps the sheet for the whole event. That person takes the money and writes each purchase at the time it happens.

  1. When a player pays the buy-in, write the name. Tick the buy-in and how the player paid.
  2. Write the seat that the player gets, for example T1 · S8 for Table 1 · Seat 8.
  3. Each time a player rebuys, tick one more rebuy box. Tick the add-on when the player takes it.
  4. When late entry closes, count the entries, the add-ons and the money. Write the totals and the time.
  5. Count the money in the cash box. It must be the money collected. If it is not, find the difference before you pay a prize.
  6. When a player is out, write the place. When you pay a prize, write it and tick Prize Paid.

The prize pool is final only when late entry closes, because a rebuy or an add-on can still change it. Then calculate the final prizes.

The expected prizes on the sheet are an example for your expected players. If the entries change, the number of paid places can change too.

In a Cash Game

Write each buy-in and each rebuy as an amount. At the end, count the chips of each player and write the result. The sum of the results of all players must be 0.
