The Levels

Make the Levels

This is the standard structure. It is made for a stack of about 100 big blinds. The blinds take each value of the ladder, for example 200, 300, 400, 500, 600 and 800. Before late entry closes, they increase faster only if the starting stack is still more than about 35 big blinds at the close.

The length includes the breaks. Until you type a length, it is the time that the blind structure needs.

Type 0 for no breaks.

Change the Levels

Type a new value in the list. A tick adds a break after a level. A change applies at once. For the level on the clock, −1 min and +1 min change the time left.

How to Use the Free Clock

  1. Type the number of players, the starting stack and the value of your smallest chip. Then choose a structure.
  2. Press Make the Levels. The clock makes the blind levels and the breaks for the length of your event.
  3. To change a level, type its minutes, blinds or ante in the list. A tick adds a break after a level.
  4. Press Start when the event starts. To show only the clock on a TV, a laptop or a phone, press Full Screen.
  5. To stop the clock for a moment, press Pause the Clock. The other buttons move the clock one step, or add or remove one minute.

The levels come from the blind calculator of PokerSjef. Level 1 has a small blind of one smallest chip and a big blind of two. Each level has a big blind ante: the player in the big blind posts one ante for the whole table.

Two spare levels follow the planned finish. If the event runs late, the clock continues and does not stop.

The clock makes a sound when a level or a break starts, and when one minute is left. The first press on the page turns on the sound. To turn it off, press Sound.

While the clock runs, it keeps the screen awake if the browser lets it. If the device sleeps, the clock continues to count. When you use the device again, the clock shows the correct level and time.

If you reload or close the page, this browser keeps the levels and the clock. Nothing that you type leaves this page.

What the Full Room Clock Adds

The free clock is one clock on one screen. In PokerSjef, the room clock is a part of a system that runs the whole event.

  • Mixed games: each level has the amounts of each game, also the bets of the limit games and the stud antes.
  • Each table on its own game: the dealer moves the table to the next game after an orbit.
  • Every phone in step: the players see the clock, the blinds and their seats on their phones.
  • Seating: PokerSjef draws the seats, balances the tables and makes the final table.
  • Money: the desk takes the buy-ins, the rebuys and the add-ons, and PokerSjef calculates the prizes.
  • The league: the results go into the seasons and the leagues of the club.
