Guide
Hand-for-Hand and Ties at the Bubble
At the bubble, every table plays one hand at a time. Players who bust out on the same hand are tied. They share their places and their prizes.
When Hand-for-Hand Can Start
- The bubble is the moment when one more bust-out puts everyone left in the money.
- The Overview tab offers hand-for-hand while more than one table is left. It also needs at least as many paid places as seats at the final table.
- At the bubble, the Overview tab suggests hand-for-hand, if your club plays it.
- Hand-for-hand cannot start until late entry is closed and the prize pool is final.
How a Hand Goes
- The Floor presses Start Hand-for-Hand on the Overview tab. The clock pauses.
- Each dealer deals one hand.
- If a player busts out, the dealer presses Bust Out first. Then the dealer presses Hand Finished.
- When every table is finished, the Floor presses Next Hand. If a table cannot press Hand Finished, the Floor presses Next Hand Anyway.
Each hand takes a fixed number of minutes from the level, so the blinds still increase on time. The Floor sets the minutes before the start.
When the time of a level runs out, the next hand is played at the next level. Before a break, the clock waits at 0:00 until hand-for-hand ends.

Ties
- Players who bust out on the same hand of hand-for-hand are tied. They share the best of their places, and they split the prizes and the points of the places that they cover equally. Outside hand-for-hand, only a shared win gives a shared place.
- For example, two players bust out on the same hand, in 10th and 9th place. Both finish 9th, and they share the prizes of 9th and 10th place equally.
- Tied players also get the same points in the seasons and the leagues.
A dealer presses Bust Out for every player who is out on the hand, before Hand Finished. If not, the ties and the prizes are wrong.
When the Bubble Bursts
- When the bubble bursts, the panel says that everyone left is in the money.
- When every table has finished the hand, the Floor presses End Hand-for-Hand and Restart the Clock. The last hand also counts its minutes.
- With published payouts, the room clock shows On the Bubble, and then In the Money.
The Final Table During Hand-for-Hand
- If a bust-out brings the field to the final table size, the final table waits for the hand.
- It forms when the last table presses Hand Finished. Then hand-for-hand ends, and the clock stays paused.
- If a table cannot press Hand Finished, the Floor presses End Hand-for-Hand and Form the Final Table.
- Every screen shows the new seats. Press Resume when all the players sit at the final table.
