Terms of Use

Last changed 1 October 2026.

These terms apply to every person who signs in to PokerSjef. If you use the site, you accept these terms. Francois Mouton, in Norway, operates PokerSjef.

What This Is

PokerSjef is a service for clubs that run live poker events in a room. It keeps the clock, the structure, the seats, the results and the league standings. It also keeps a record of the money that the club collects at the table.

What This Is Not

It is not an online poker game. The site deals no cards. The site takes no payment, holds no money and pays nothing to anybody. Cash moves in the room, between the people at the table. The site only records the amounts that a club director enters.

Your Account

Correct Use

A club director can remove a member who breaks these rules. The operator can close an account or a club that breaks them.

A Club's Responsibility

The directors of a club are responsible for how the club uses the site. This includes whom the club lets join, the roles that it gives, and what it records about its players and its money.

Who Decides a Result

The club director decides. The site records what the director enters. A dispute about a hand, a finishing place, a payout or a payment goes to the director of that event, not to the site.

Responsibility

The operator gives the site as it is, with no promise about a result. The operator is not responsible for a loss that follows from a wrong entry, a failure of the service or a dispute at the table. Nothing here removes a right that the law gives you.

Your Data

The privacy page states what the site keeps and how to ask for a copy or a removal.

The Law

Norwegian law applies. Play only where the law allows it. Follow the rules of your club.

Changes to These Terms

A change to this page changes the date at the top. If you use the site after a change, you accept the change. If you do not accept the change, do not use the site.
